Introducing Notion 3.0

Today we launched Notion 3.0 with Agents. Anything you can do in Notion, your Agent can do too. The busywork that fills your day can now be done in minutes.

This isn’t an AI chatbot that makes generic suggestions. Your Notion Agent tackles real work because it understands your work and can take action. It can complete multiple actions at a time, creating finished pages, databases, and reports directly in your workspace. Just assign the tasks, and your Agent does the work.

It’s 3 pm on a Thursday. You have follow‑ups to write, the team is waiting for the project plan you promised, and you’re still hunting through docs and messages for that one decision from last week. Then suddenly, the day is over.

Before, Notion AI was great for quick answers and editing a single page. Now, your Agent can do up to 20 minutes of autonomous work at a time across hundreds of pages at once.

For example, tell it to “compile customer feedback from Slack, Notion, and email into actionable insights,” and watch it research across your tools, synthesize findings, create a structured database, then notify you when it’s done.

Assign your Agent a page with instructions to customize how it behaves. This page acts like a memory bank to help you and your Agent work faster. Tell it how to triage your tasks, format its responses, and what information to reference before starting its work.
